This is a multinational, leading consultancy business based in Manchester. They have an excellent reputation for being one of the strongest in-house tax teams in the North West. Due to the international exposure and the multiple different countries the business operates in, there will be some very interesting tax work to get involved with as In-House Assistant Tax Manager.

Description

As a In-House Tax Assistant Manager you will be providing day to day support to the Group Tax Manager on corporate tax related matters;

Preparation of the Group's transfer pricing policies

Preparation of annual country-by-country report for the Group;

Preparation of UK corporation tax computations and returns,

Management of the UK group relief position;

Initial review of tax figures for monthly management reporting;

Assisting in the preparation of tax figures and disclosures for the yearly group tax reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes;

Supporting the Group Tax Manager and local Financial Controllers in responding to enquiries from tax authorities across the Group;

Assisting in ad-hoc global tax queries and projects.

Profile

The successful In-House Assistant Tax Manager will ideally be ACA/CTA Qualified (or qualified by experience) with strong tax skills and exposure in UK corporation tax issues faced by multinationals; experience in global transfer pricing compliance is preferable.

You will also have excellent communication skills and desire to interact at all levels across a global organisation.

Job Offer

£40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience), benefits include health-care and 26 days holiday
