Hudson are looking for expressions of interest from talented senior accountants in the Brisbane market.
Key responsibilities:
- Key contributor for month end cycle, including monthly financial statement and reporting pack preparation;
- Management of assigned support function reporting, including accrual & adjustment preparation, monthly analysis
- Preparation of year-end consolidation and statutory reporting;
- Lead role annual audit;
- Assist with preparation of FBT obligations;
- Monthly P&L analysis and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Ad hoc projects as required by management
Essential Skills and experience:
- Senior professional (CA/CPA qualified)
- At least 3 years Financial Accounting experience
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Sound understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and compliance environment
- Analytical and highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail
- Flexible, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Ability to challenge the status quo
- Adaptability in a changing environment
