Finance controller

The SF Group is currently searching for a Financial Controller to join a manufacturing business based in Coalville. This business is going thorough a significant period of change and is looking to hire a Qualified Accountant who can operate in a hands on controller role across multiple manufacturing sites. The role will suit an operational FC who doesn't want to be just a number in a large organisation but get involved with all aspects of accounts in a growing division of a global group. You will be working closely with the Operations Team therefore you must be a confident communicator at all levels. Some of the key responsibilities include: - Produce monthly forecasts and communicate these to relevant stakeholders - Establish a strong controls environment - Generate monthly reporting pack - Prepare the annual budget - Produce the year end accounts - Provide analysis and review of strategic plans - Finance Lead on multiple projects - Stock control, with complex costing work Skills and experience: - ACA, ACCA OR CIMA Qualified - Proven experience in a Financial Controller Role - Experience with SAP - Manufacturing experience - Strong financial awareness - Ability to successfully manipulate data and provide accurate and timely reporting - Strong Commercial acumen - Excellent forecasting and budgeting skills A salary of up circa £55,000 is on offer to the right candidate as well as a long term career progression in an organisation with historically low turnover.
