Commercial Finance Manager

Fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused, analytical qualified accountant to join a dynamic commercial finance team working across global clients. Your role will be both business and client facing, with multiple stake holders both in the UK and worldwide. This is undoubtedly a role that sits far away from month-end and reporting, instead it's exclusively focused on analysing contracts, reviewing and promoting client profitability, managing client relationships and developing your contact negotiation skills. ·Close collaboration with Commercial Directors on global new business tenders.·Managing the fee proposals from markets ·Exposure to contract negotiations with the aim of improving commercial knowledge and developing client relationship management acumen.·Develop and manage some client relationships and take ownership of commercial topics, becoming the clients' key point of contact on those topics.·Managing requests from markets on contract compliance and educating client teams and markets on these points. .·Preparing and reviewing profitability reports for all international clients ·Working closely with Commercial Assistant, helping both to complete and review their work when the other commercial manager is absent.·Review and analyse reports collated by Commercial Assistant and handling the resultant queries with clients.·Liaise with CFO's across the network to collect commercial information and assist with contract compliance.·Be a key point of contact on finance and commercial matters both internally and externally to clients. This will often mean working to tight deadlines and being able to articulate commercial terms and risks.·Explaining financial and commercial information to non-finance/commercial individuals. This could involve the training of people within the business.Candidate Recently qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Previous experience within a commercial finance team or in a role focused on client revenue and contracts Ambitious, bright and keen to develop new skills in this area Polished communication skills - able to work closely with and present to senior client directors
