Finance Manager

Currently recruiting a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Finance Manager for our client who are based West of Cambridge.Within this role you will be responsible for the business reporting & planning process that underpins the success of the group. You will manage the accounting operations including the production of periodic financial reports, the maintenance of all accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate any business risk, ensure accurate reporting that complies with current recognised accounting principles.The Finance Manager will manage one Finance Assistant to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data.Working with the Head of Operations provide support to the Management Team & assist in business (re)modellingOther key duties:Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting business planning.The maximisation of profitability and cash flow, by ensuring income is fully recognised and expenditure is controlled. Responsibility for the operation of the finance department ensuring the integrity of the financial data held within it, including reconciliation of all balance sheet accountsEfficient management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including credit control, leading to accurate forecasting and reporting of cash flowOverseeing the smooth operation of the payroll system, maintaining pension records and share scheme deductionsIssue timely and accurate financial statements, including monthly management accounts and the annual reportManage performance against budget, reporting on any variances in terms of business performance and cost control.Carry out general Company Secretarial dutiesAssist in the production of the annual budget, share valuation & share scheme launchManagement and development of the Finance team members ensuring full engagement and professional developmentIdeally educated to degree level and a Qualified accountant with a recognised professional body.
