Finance Manager

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to take on a newly created role within an internationally renowned company in the Midlands. We are seeking an individual with experience across the lifecycle of property development with particular skills in investment appraisal and monetisation of assets. Example tasks will include: Being a key business partner, accountable for optimising opportunities and delivering enhanced value of assetsResponsible for financial valuation and development appraisalsLeading and developing investment modelling as well as tracking a development pipeline, related investments and capital land acquisitionsSupporting with strategy including the development of a five year strategic planLeading engagement with development partners to understand performance of development projects and to perform audit reviews of project costsCoaching and managing direct reports, driving a high performance culture Key skills required: A qualified Chartered Accountant from a recognised UK body (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with several years post qualification experienceProven experience in property development including investment appraisalExcellent communication skills, able to business partner stakeholders outside of financeA proven track record of financial delivery, with significant operational and commercial experience in large multi site businessesDemonstrable understanding of complex organisations, key business issues and balance sheet controls / reconciliationsPrevious management experience is also highly desirable If you have these skills in property, real estate or construction and are open to working in Leicestershire, Warwickshire or Birmingham, I would encourage you to apply.
