Finance Analyst

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A leading business based south of Cambridge with offices across the world are looking for a Principal Finance Analyst to join their operations division within finance. Working closely with senior staff and supporting junior finance analyst's you will be joining a privately owned company that have experienced substantial organic growth over the past 5 years and are looking to continue this trend. Offering flexibility to work from home throughout the week you will play a pivotal role in providing all suitable finance information to the mainstream finance division. The role will contribute to the achievement of financial and business strategy via identification and resolution of analytical information regarding cost of production, contracts and revenue recognition. The role will oversee junior members of the team while providing accurate budgets per project, consult and apply financial guidance to the operations management team involved on certain projects while reviewing juniors work on multiple studies; making sure their financials and associated metrics are correct. You will be hands on with recognising revenue, generating forecasts and performing project cost analysis for complex projects and their strategic goals. The successful applicant will be Qualified ACCA,ACA,CIMA with prior experience in an analytical role with exposure to discussing trends alongside finance and non finance individuals. You will have a keen eye for detail, able to use your initiative to spot cost saving measures and raise this to the appropriate members in the business. there is room for growth in the role with the ability to continue your professional development within a faced pasted organisation.
