Finance Analyst Part-Qualified

Are you a Finance Analyst looking for a new challenge within an exciting and expanding team? Your new company A forward thinking, fast paced not for profit organisation that supports the education sector to promote and develop their senior staff is looking for a Finance Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. Your new role Reporting into the Finance Manager, this is a new role that will assist with the consolidation of bi monthly reporting, assist with annual budgeting and review and analyse figures to meet the organisations financial objectives. You will work closely with the Management Accounting team within a shared service function to ensure clear understanding of actuals v forecast and budget and to have a clear understanding of balance sheet items. You will co-ordinate the budget and forecast process and assist with month end reporting packs including preparation of variance analysis and commentaries. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will be ACCA or CIMA part qualified but ideally at finalist stage. You will be an advanced user of excel, particularly using functions such as v look ups and pivot tables. You will need to be extremely numerate as a lot of this role will involve extracting and analysing data and creating reports. Financial modelling experience will be a big advantage as would experience of using the systems Financial Fore or Sales Force. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with different stakeholders including non-finance colleagues. This full time permanent assistant financial accountant role is paying £25,000 - £35,000 per annum offering a study-supported package (ACCA), on-site parking and competitive benefits.
