Group Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Accountant to join our client's growing team. You will be responsible for the day to day management of cash and banking facilities across the Group and will work to improve the accuracy of the cash flow forecasting model. You will also manage the Group's tax affairs and will work to actively implement change and process improvement. Specific tasks include: Preparation of the Group's short/medium cash flow forecasts. Management of the working capital components and cash balances. Being responsible for day to day banking matters. Ideally have an understanding of the Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) regime and ensure that the Group is compliant. Collate business information for tax computations. Quarterly cash tax forecasting. Preparation and submission of the PAYE settlement agreement. Working with the Company Secretary to implement improvements for the internal/external audits. You should be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication and IT skills and a proven track record driving work forward.
