Finance Manager

Finance Manager/Financial Controller. Our client is a highly successful industrial distribution business with an element of manufacturing,and is subsidiary of an international group. This position reports to the General Manager with a dotted line, to the Group Finance Director based overseas, and will be responsible for varied assignments in the Accounting Function for the company, predominantly focusing on the UK. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years in accounting, ideally in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment with a capability to perform financial analysis and reporting.You will be responsible for the presentation of monthly financial performance including 'working capital/cash flow' to management and directors.You will develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Preparation of annual operating / capital budgets and forecasting.Candidates should be commercially aware ACMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with post qualification experience. In addition you will take an active part in managing and developing the business as a member of the UK Senior Leadership team.Candidates should possess excellent organisational and analytical skills and must be knowledgeable with computers and software applications (MS Office, ERP Systems). SAP experience would be useful (but not essential) as this has recently been installed.If you possess the necessary qualities please apply as soon as possible.
