Interim Head of Finance position within award winning not for profit organisation in Manchester Your new companyI am working on an exclusive basis with an award winning not for profit organisation based in Manchester. They are renowned for working with local communities in order to develop strategies to improve their well-being. They have an established finance team and now have the opportunity to join in a senior and operational role. Your new roleIt will be your responsibility to lead a strong finance team and develop staff in order to further their careers. You will look to improve and develop processes and controls in order to maintain and develop the organisations financial integrity, develop business plans and proposals, produce monthly management accounts as well as forecasts & budgets. It will also be your responsibility to produce statutory accounts under SORP.What you will need to succeed You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a background in a not for profit organisation. Due to the operational nature of the role it is key that you have strong staff management and financial management skills.
