Assistant Management Accountant + ACCA / CIMATrafford Park£20,000-£22,000An internal promotion has created the need for an AAT Finalist /Qualified Assistant Accountant who is looking for the next step in their career.Working for a FTSE 100 retail company, this role is ideal for an individual who has 2-3 years' experience but feels growth and exposure is limited at their current company.You will report into a qualified Management Accountant who started at the business as a junior member of staff 5 years ago and has flourished; now the business is now looking for someone to follow in their footsteps.Your first 6 months will be spent receiving first-class training on the following areas:-Assisting with preparing the month-end management accounts -Profit & Loss reporting for all departments -Cash flow forecasting and projecting findings to the Management Accountant-Balance sheet reconciliations-Month-end accruals, prepayments and journalsWhat skills do I need to apply for this role?-2 years' accounts experience at transactional level-An AAT Qualification or be at final stages-Drive and ambition to become a qualified member of the management team-Ability to work in a fast-paced industry with regular deadlines to meetWhat will I get in return for my hard work?-Structured progression plan mapped out from the offset-Full study support towards the ACCA or CIMA-Annual salary review written into your contract-Great social life for all staff including regular events, weekends away and Christmas shut downIf you are ready to make that next step in your career
