Internal Audit & Compliance ManagerLondon£ CompetitiveInterQuest Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our most successful and valued clients, a trusted global technology leader to support with the recruitment of an Internal Audit & Compliance Manager based out of their London head office site.Duties & Responsibilities*Work alongside external auditors (both general audit and IT audit) when required and to find ways to reduce the work that they are required to perform*Support to the Board and Senior Management with special projects on an ad hoc basis at their request and supporting the department's reporting and planning responsibilities when needed *Provide support to key business partners when required. Financial Projects Department currently provides support to IT, HR, Marketing, Shared Services, Global Services. This includes responsibility for budgeting, accounting and general business support*Ensure proper compliance (of relevant laws and rules) within the internal business sites*Plan, scope and carryout internal audit reviews of key business units/areas*Prepare reports for each visit*Follow up on deficiencies to ensure that they are remediated on a timely basis and to share findings across the EMEA group to ensure that positive changes can be made*Provide improvement recommendations to the business and senior management*Analyse new markets and product offerings to ensure they include adequate control environmentsSkills & Experience*Previous experience of working in an Internal Audit and Compliance capacity*Knowledge IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley or Japanese Sarbanes Oxley (J-SOX)*Ability to speak a second language preferred*Experience of Co-ordinating compliance and control activities across multiple countries*Degree level qualification*Recognised accountancy qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, IIA*IIA membership preferredInterquest Group PLC is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
