A Global insurance company is looking to hire an Internal Audit Manager. They have had a strong team of six for the last year, but the previous audit manager has moved on to a new role. The team has worked very well together in the past so not much change will need to be implemented. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Audit to ensure the smooth running and continued momentum of the business. They are a global company and there will be some international travel involved. Key Responsibilities: Plan and scope along with the Head of Audit, risk based reviews in line with the Senior Management.To identify and report on key risks within the framework.Reporting to stakeholders including an update on progress.Potential to manage but also be a part of a small team.Comfortable working in a professional but friendly environment.Must have the ability to travel to other offices internationally. The successful candidate will have: Extensive experience of internal audit and will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA qualified.A strong background with over 4 years experience in internal audit.Previous experience working in the financial services sector is essential.Ability to work autonomously and run projects to a high standard.Experience in report writing is essential.Strong analytical skills.
