The firm also has a wide range of sub audit threshold clients and the opportunity suits an all round , accounts/tax, with, or without audit, general accounting practice professional, seeking a role with genuine prospects for partnership as a Senior Manager / Partner Designate.

Description

Joining as a Senior Manager / Partner Designate, you will take on the management of a varied portfolio, managing a client portfolio, covering a wide range of business sectors, moulded around your preferences eg a mix of larger corporate / audit requirement and sub audit threshold in turnover clients, or a portfolio focused on the latter, across wide ranging clients, including manufacturing, retail, tourism and hospitality, leisure etc, overseeing the delivery of audit, accounting, taxation and other services services and providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets.

Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve developing and building client relationships and actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. You will lead and develop this office and working with the wider business to play a key role in this firms ongoing success and positive development.

You will be able to demonstrate the associated skills required and you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to step up into this level of role within a negotiable and realistic timescale, dependent on your motivations, experience and discussions.

Profile

ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in practice either Senior Manager / Designate Partner level or salaried Associate, Director. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clients of growing, profitable limited companies and OMBs up to and/ or, over the audit threshold in size, with an emphasis on audit, accounts, tax and advisory work. You will be looking to step up into a partner level role with equity and be able to demonstrate the skills required with business development and relationship building skills.

You may be from a South West accountancy firm of small, medium/large size/ Mid Tier/Top Tier environment, or looking to relocate to the South West in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession where you can develop towards partnership in a leading firm of accountants.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £55,000, or more, dependent on experience, background and level, negotiable
