Description
The Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger (Part-time) role involves:
- Processing expense claims
- Purchase Ledger / Processing invoices
- Entering data for bi-weekly payment runs
- Liaising with sub-contractors and colleagues via email and phone
- Dealing with accounting queries
- Raising Material Order
- Matching Goods Receives notes
- Matching Purchase Orders
- Raising Sub-Contract Order (Work Orders & Stage Payment Matrix)
- Entering Sales Invoices
- Process BACs payments
- Raising Cheques
- Processing BACS/Cheque/Debit Card Requisitions
- Process mid & month end payment runs
- Entering Reservation & Exchange deposits
- Ordering Fuel Cards (Site Managers & Office Staff)
- Dealing with Utility & Service Companies
- Purchase Ledger Reconciliations
- CIS Tax
- Processing Cash Book Payments
- Bank Reconciliations
- Monitoring petty cash
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger (Part-time) role will;
- ideally have previous Accounts experience from within the property/construction industry (not essential)
- ideally have CIS / Subcontractor experience
- be looking for a local part-time role (roughly 3 days per week / circa 25 hours per week)
- ideally have COINS experience (not essential)
