Part-Qualified Management Accountant - Ely - £35,000 - £40,000 per annumA great opportunity to work with one of the regions leading business has just opened up. My client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team and report directly into Head of Commercial and Operations Finance.*Applications will also be accepted from candidates who are 'Qualified by Experience'Your duties will include but not limited to: Weekly Management Accounts & KPIs-Provide relevant and timely financial reports on a weekly basis with clear concise commentary and investigation. Reporting across product groups in a consistent format as well as consolidated CCF result.-Weekly stock reconciliation and subsequent investigation into variances-Work with Operations to establish and drive weekly labour variance analysis-Work with Operations to establish and drive weekly yield reporting variance analysis-Finance representative for weekly KPI review meetingsMonth End Management Accounts-Provide relevant and timely financial metrics on a monthly basis with clear concise commentary and investigation-Reconciliation of weekly result to month end result, measure of accuracy understands movement.-Consolidation of the CCF & BSL result-Completion of Group Packs-Stock trend analysis-Full balance sheet reconciliation signed off with relevant back up-Detailed overhead analysis and meetings with budget holders-Review of debtors and creditors reporting-Cash and balance sheet forecastingBudget and Forecasting-Full involvement in the annual budget setting process-Timely re-forecasting of financial results, clear assumptions documented-Risks and opportunities completed and reviewed versus budget/forecast.Capital Reporting & Fixed Assets-To control all capital expenditure through procedure and follow up. To report on return on capital achieved through capital projects.-Ensure the fixed asset register is complete and accurate at all times-Procedures and Controls-The development, upkeep and disciplining of accounting procedures manual.-Involvement and lead in improvement projects-Ensure there is adequate cover for all key tasksCost Saving verification and analysis-Working with CCF & BSL teams to verify cost saving initiatives-Tracking of all cost saving initiatives for deliveryPersonal Qualities and Skills: -Finance experience in an FMCG.-Degree level education or experience.-Studying towards CIMA/ACCA or Qualified by Experience.-Strong Excel skills.If you posses the knowledge and experience to be successful in this role, please apply.
