In this particular role, you'll plan, lead and on occasions carry out risk driven audit assignments and fraud investigations on behalf of the company. You will work within the Finance & Corporate Services Directorate providing audit and investigation services across the business.
To be a successful Audit & Investigations manager you'll need to display the highest standards of professionalism, objectivity, fairness, expertise, integrity and vision. Supporting the Head of Internal Audit you'll be assessing the quality of risk management processes, systems of internal control and corporate governance processes, across all parts of the business.
You will be experienced in leading and developing investigation training for yourself and others have responsibility for maintaining the fraud caseload and for designing and managing a range of outcome based metrics and monitoring productivity of investigations.
You'll manage your own performance, workload and that of your team effectively as well as acting as a champion for change and someone who responds positively to change.
The successful candidate will have internal audit experience ideally gained from working in the public sector or the voluntary sector. Counter fraud/investigations experience would be an advantage.
