Prestigious global corporation based in the City are seeking to strengthen their Finance Team with the addition of a graduate Tax Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified accounting graduates looking to start their career in finance - full sponsorship of the ACA qualification is included as part of the package. The role will focus primarily on taxation but with the opportunity to work in all other areas of the finance team. To apply for this role candidates must be degree educated in a relevant numerical field and attained a minimum of 2:1
You will be required to:
" Ensure that tax compliance and procedures are adhered to and maintained to reflect current policies and regulations
" Assist the tax manager with all matter concerned to taxation
" Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc projects
" Maintain and develop relationships with intermediaries, preparation of marketing collateral and presentations
" Maintain and develop relationships with the business, HMR&C and customers
" Manage workflow and fee income, ensuring that time is recorded accurately and appropriate fees are collected accordingly.
