Randstad MENA is seeking an experienced Financial Controller - Operational Unit role on behalf of a major client. This is a permanent staff position based in Saudi Arabia.
Technical or Job Related Requirements:
- Ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results by providing financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets and standard, and advice to management.- Responsible for asset inventory records and systems. Collaborates with management in divisions and regions to develop the business and capital plans. Prepares departmental presentations to standing committee, Ministers and other senior officials.- Ensures that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company accounting policies, chart of accounts, and generally accepted accounting principles.- Develops and implements department specific policies, systems, funding agreements and procedures that ensure effective financial planning and budgetary management.- Ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results by providing financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets and standards, and advice to management.- Maintains the asset inventory system.- Collaborates with management in divisions and regions to develop.- Prepares departmental presentations to standing committee, Ministers and other senior officials.- Supervises and coordinates the work of professional level accounting staff.- Performs special projects for the finance Director's office which include serving as departmental coordinator of related committees and task forces.- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
General Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting a post-graduated qualification recommended.- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in his specific field.- Excellent English Communication Skills- Requites the equivalent of professional training in accounting and progressive experience in several areas of accounting- Relevant Previous Positions in Financial controller or Sr. Business analyst.- Relevant Previous Industries in Professional skills level in which knowledge has been supplemented by substantial applicable work experience
