Our client is a leading Fashion/Retail company located in London's West End, a short walk from Oxford Circus. Due to a new acquisition, an opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Stock Assistant (Beauty Division) to join their growing accountancy team.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Stock Assistant (Beauty Division) with responsibility for the following duties:

Purchase Ledger
 First point of contact for suppliers, maintaining the accounts payable beauty inbox.
 Ensuring all Stock invoices are processed in timely matter by offshore stock team.
 Reviewing outstanding invoices list daily and investigate queries.
 Responsible for Weekly BACs and CHAPS payment run.
 Collaborating with warehouse and merchandise department to resolve invoice discrepancies.
 Reviewing un-posted stock receipts with supply chain team.
 Preparing and maintaining payment forecast for all major suppliers.
 Maintaining supplier accounts and supplier reconciliations.
 Assisting with preparation of audit samples.
Month End Reporting
 Preparing Stock Prepayments schedule and post relevant journals.
 Reviewing GRN and Stock in transit accrual and post relevant journals.
 Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations for all purchase ledger accounts.
 Preparing monthly key supplier statement reconciliations.
 Any other duties consistent with this role, including filing general admin support where needed.

Profile

Purchase Ledger experience essential

Previous Purchase Ledger experience in a Retail/FMCG/Beauty/Stock-based company essential
Studying for a professional qualification/Registered exemptions

Minimum 9 months purchase ledger experience
