NXTGEN are seeking an Interim Finance Director for an established Food Manufacturing business. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the purpose of the assignment will be to constructively challenge and influence the direction of the business, maximising revenues and growth. As Interim Finance Director, you will also review current reporting processes, identifying any opportunities for efficiencies and improvements. The role will remain hands on with the numbers and will also work closely with operational teams to review manufacturing costs and maximise profitability without compromising on quality.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver month end reporting packs for board meetings and advise on best approach to achieve financial objectives
- Review current operational performance from a financial perspective and identify opportunities for improvements
- Responsibility for full budgeting/forecasting cycle
- Play an active role in setting business strategy, influencing direction of the business to maximise financial performance
Candidates will be available to interview and commence work at short notice and will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). A proven background working within Manufacturing/Food/FMCG is essential combined with experience leading and developing teams.
