Title: Business Analyst (US/North America) m/f Reports to: COO/CTO Location: United StatesWork Conditions: Home Office or Princeton Office, USA Position Summary: As a Business Analyst a large portion of your time will be working in software implementation projects as part of the implementation team. In that role you will work closely with the customers business and IT representatives as well as the Cunesoft internal product management and quality compliance teams translating design documents into functional specifications. System process mapping and business requirements are to be well documented in order to deliver high quality solutions. You will also help improve efficiencies and quality of documentation within the business. You will also support pre–sales engagements as well as post–sales support activities. The individual should be able to work in complex projects, be self–motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast–paced and constantly changing environments, including diverse technologies, lab as well as cloud environments. The individual will work closely with developers, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders throughout the organization. The individual should have a found understanding of regulations and processes within the pharmaceutical industry. Major Responsibilities: Document business requirements, design and model solutions, and work with development teams throughout system implementation and delivery.Pro–actively communicate and collaborate with business clients to analyze functional requirements and deliver the appropriate artifacts as needed: business requirement documents, functional specifications, data specifications, use cases, workflow analysis, reports and user–interface layouts and designs, test cases, etc.Ensure that new solutions address immediate business needs, while ensuring system alignment with global technology strategy and application roadmaps.Advocate for the business to ensure that IT delivers solutions that meet business needs.Conduct data analysis in support of applications and projects, including identifying and documenting business rules, data needs and data specifications.Collaborate across application development and technology teams within IT to ensure that business requirements are fully understood.Participate in design, development, testing and implementation of solutions.A key member of the project team, the BA works with the project manager, development manager, developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.Help to support, maintain and debug existing applications and systems.Participate and assist with testing, configuration/release management, deployment as well as validation.Demonstrate software in support of requirements gathering as well as occasional sales support.Backup for client support organization during peak activities. Minimum Requirements: Experience/Skills:5+ years of Life Science and regulatory experience with business analysis expertise and demonstrable experience with computer systems validationExperience in process mapping / process flows / process modeling requiredRe–engineering experience good to haveBusiness analysis experience good to haveBasic understanding of Cloud based environmentsUnderstanding and previous experience with GxP and / or CFR 21 Part 11Must be flexible, independent and self–motivatedAbility to lead workshops with senior level participantsPunctual, Regular and consistent attendanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA good and solid understanding of regulatory processes and understanding regulatory software Education:BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or domain related working experience • International Institute of Business Analysis CBAP certification is a plus
