FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT-12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT - WATERFORD ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of Capital and project expense forecast Project cost tracking against budget and forecasts Capital cash-flow forecast Month end financial reporting responsibilities including preparation of CAPEX accruals and preparation of month end reports CER preparation Capital grant claims Payroll accounting, weekly and monthly payroll journals Payroll monthly & weekly analysis/control of transfer file for payment Balance Sheet controls on Payroll accounts SOX Cycle for Payroll including SOX audits Annual Pension Audit Training Grant applications Other ad hoc requests QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Professional Qualified with a minimum 2-3 years PQE. KEY SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES Person with the ability to work own initiative. IT literate (Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, look-ups), ERP systems) Problem solving, enthusiasm for adopting change in a complex organization. High level of accuracy Ability to impart knowledge and skills to other members of the team. Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
