Our client, an online retail company is looking for a hardworking Accounts Payable clerk to join the team.
Soho, Central London
£8-11ph, depending on relevant candidate experience
6 months temporary contract with a possibility of an extension thereafter
Client Details
An expanding online retail company with operations spread across multiple countries.
They are looking for an Accounts Payable clerk, who has previous experience gained through a busy accounts payable department.
Description
- Raising Purchase Orders from requisitions, ensuring correct coding and authorisations obtained.
- Review & verify invoices and Cheque requests.
- Match invoices to Purchase Orders
- Process Staff Expenses.
- Initiate the payment of invoices and raise BACS runs.
- Carry out regular bank reconciliations.
- Take responsibility for petty cash transactions and reconciliation.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure best value is obtained.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be numerate and have excellent accounting skills.
- Educated to a Degree level, a degree in Finance or Accounting will be beneficial or working towards relevant qualifications ie AAT or stopped studier.
- IT literate with advanced Excel skills. Experience of Elite 3e would be desirable.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work autonomously.
Job Offer
£8- £11ph, immediate start, 6 month contract with a possibility of an extension thereafter
