1. Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for management of all aspects of financial/corporate accounting functions inclusive of financial planning, financial/management reporting, budgetary controls, treasury, funding, tax planning/management, forecasting & etc.
  • To monitor and coordinate performance to ensure the strategic, operational and financial performance of the subsidiaries and associates are within the pre-determined targets and business plan.
  • Responsible to source for project funding, evaluate and apply for financing and loan instruments.
  • To establish operational budgets and manage/oversee cash flow projections of the Company to control payment and collection schedule to achieve efficiency in cash management system.
  • Responsible for corporate tax planning and supervising all banking and taxation matters of the Company.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting / requirements.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, directors, government regulatory bodies, company's secretary and tax agents on behalf of the Company.
  • To release Bursa Announcements on a timely basis for quarterly report, changes in substantial shareholders, dealing in securities, new contract won and any other announcement required under the Bursa Listing Requirements.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • To lead and /or assist on corporate exercises undertaken by the company including investor relationship role.
  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • To undertake all other tasks as assigned by Management.

2. Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA).
  • Minimum 8 Year(s) of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in financial leadership roles, in the preferably in construction engineering industry and from a public listed company.
  • Member of Malaysia Institute Accountants (MIA).
  • Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Finance - Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or equivalent.
