Our client, a large retail group, has an opening for a Financial Controller to head up the finance function of 6 people and report into the CEO. If you have strong people management skills, great organisational skills and an appetite to be part of a growing and fast-paced retail environment, please apply.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the Management Accounts, with responsibility for key areas of the P & L and Balance Sheet
- This will include the preparation and review of subsidiary reporting including the analysis of the results versus budget and prior year
- Provision of weekly and monthly information to the parent company
- Preparation of the Annual Budget and ongoing Forecasts
- Reviewing & updating of financial controls to ensure the integrity of the financial records
- A qualified accountant, with at least 7-10 years post qualification experience
- Have experience in leading a busy finance function
- Experienced in budgeting and have a strong understanding of variance analysis and reporting
