To provide accurate financial management information and advice to support the management team to manage their areas of the business efficiently and effectively in line with budget requirements, ensuring maximum profitability at all times for the business.

Our client is well known in the sports world and based in Surrey.

Description

• Manage the month end process, including journals, accruals and various month end routines. Create management accounts, review and query results before finalising with FD
• Prepare budgets for some lines including admin costs, utilities, payroll
• Assist in year-end processes, year-end audit file & be key contact for auditors during field work
• Oversee all daily operations in the office (banking, daily reports, end of day transactions, cash book posting etc)
• Actively drive the credit control process, regular review of debt and dunning processing
• Oversee credit control processes with respect to events
• Oversee all purchase ledger processing, review and challenge supplier payment terms and payment runs
• Induct new employees, identify training needs, manage team of 6 on daily basis
• Assist in accounts related training for other departments

Profile

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Highly IT literate
• Inquisitive, perceptive and analytical, able to see trends and identify concerns
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and planning skills, highly committed to service excellence and results orientated

Job Offer

£55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus
