The key objective of the role will be to prepare the financial statements on behalf of the London Branch, prepare procedures and training, liaise with Head Office concerning the development of accounting issues, and assure the accuracy of the product accounting.

You’ll have a direct report to the Head of Finance and key responsibilities will include:

Preparing the monthly Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statement for the London Branch based on local GAAPs, IFRS and FINREP
Making sure all the financial instruments are accounted for correctly according to relevant GAAPs
Complying with all statutory and internal reporting requirements
Reviewing and adjust profit and loss accounts as well as balance sheet accounts in the general ledger
Managing the bond portfolio of the branch based on IFRS 9
Supporting Head Office with monthly reporting procedures
Preparation of ad hoc reports
Project work
