Assistant Finance Manager

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Fully qualified or Final Stage with Global recognised accounting body (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bangsar South.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Job Description:

Assist Managers in managing all financial and related reporting aspects.
Take full ownership of the accounts (including balance sheet and profit and loss account) and maintain the integrity of data within the ledgers.
The day to day transaction processing of all operational activities, within the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger and the Project module of the Accounting system, including Preparing, reviewing or authorising journals and adjustments Reviewing expense claims to ensure they are ready for processing Reviewing and signing off bank and cash reconciliations
Performing Inter-company invoicing (to include the preparation of workings to support the charges and netting
Performing or reviewing a variety of accounting reconciliations including petty cash, cash advances to staff and other Balance Sheet accounts
Supporting project managers with project budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, monitoring and reporting
Producing and submitting SST Returns
Managing year-end audit and co-ordinating statutory reporting
Developing, updating and implementing local financial procedures and identifying areas of improvement in existing processes and systems
Providing operational oversight and direct support as required
Performing other related duties as required
