We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Financial Control Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the monthly financial close process, coordinating analytical reviews and ensuring key high quality output
  • Govern the period end processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies and review journals as applicable
  • Challenging and providing guidance to the business and Global Finance Centre (GFC) team
  • Maintain strong relationship with offshore teams by regular communication and visits to India as required, and be accountable for deliverables of both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Drive change initiatives and continue to challenge status quo and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate work with Accounting Policy team for new products and customer incentives or in the review of old accounting models

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Qualified Accountant
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
