A leading, highly successful and growing firm of chartered accountants based in Exeter is searching for a Corporate Tax Advisory Manager / Senior Manager to join their team in an entirely tax planning and advisory focused role. The firm and role provides clear career development prospects both in technical development and career route to progress.

Client Details

Based in the firms Exeter offices, you will be joining a highly regarded tax team, with an excellent reputation across the region, wider South West and UK. The tax advisory division in headed by two partners with a team of circa twenty experienced tax advisory professional working on wide ranging complex corporate tax advisory work for the firms client range. The wider business presents one of the largest and growth focused firm of chartered accountants across the South West with a wide ranging client base with clients ranging from sub audit threshold turnover clients, through to circa £100million turnover clients. As a core client the sweet spot is typically in the range of around £10 - £20/30million turnover, with growth focused limited companies, OMBs and corporate clients looking for a long term, partnering relationship, providing an environment where you can truly carve a career making a real impact, developing long term, go to trusted relationships. Description

Joining as Corporate Tax Advisory Manager / Senior Manager, based out of the firms Exeter offices, there is scope to mould the level of the role and responsibilities around the background and experience of the right professional. You will take on the delivery of wide ranging corporate tax advisory project work to the firms client to included international tax and cross border reorganisations, advising on a wide range of clients on all aspects of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, demergers, and corporate reconstructions for example. Alongside this there could be involvement in R and D project work, international tax advice and share schemes and other one off project work delivering a wide range of corporate tax solutions. The role will be moulded to a degree to suit and work around the strengths and preferences of the right professional, whilst also offering the chance to develop your advisory and technical skill set further.

Profile

You will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with additional ADIT qualification a bonus or studying for this, with the firm very willing to support further study for ADIT should the right candidate be part way through, or looking to pursue this additional qualification. Clawback able to be covered, should this apply for any individuals part way through ADIT. You will have developed your career to Corporate Tax Advisory Manager/Senior Manager level or thereabouts, with a corporate tax advisory focused career background having been developed within a mix of in house and/or accountancy practice focused firm background. You will not necessarily come with expertise across every area of corporate tax project work, with the partners rather looking to focus on developing the right candidate, with the right approach and willingness and desire to deliver on wide ranging work and develop the skills and relish the challenge of furthering their technical skill set. Therefore you might be focused in share schemes as your main core area of specialism but very interested to work on wider ranging projects with the support and backing of a very highly regarded team of CTA partners and senior leadership team to help you develop. Or you may be more of an international tax focused expert alternatively etc.

Job Offer
