An international commercial bank are seeking a newly / recently qualified accountant to join their London based Finance function as a Financial Controller, initially on a contract basis
The Financial Controller will ensure sound accounting practice is followed, with due consideration given to local laws and regulations. Reporting to regulators, central banks and tax authorities is an essential part of the role, and there will also be opportunities to cover a broader range of finance roles and responsibilities.
Applicants should be newly / recently qualified accountants (ACA desirable) with specific experience of operating in the banking sector, focussing on financial reporting and local taxation. Fluency in French or Italian would be beneficial (but not essential).
