Financial Controller

Success Recruit are currently working with a growing and dynamic media company based in City of London that due to continued success and growth plans are looking to recruit a Financial Controller.

The successful Financial Controller will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of all accounting processes, financial control and reporting who will work closely with the founder and MD.

The successful Financial Controller will be expected to:

• Have strong commercial acumen and work closely with managing director to achieve & exceed growth plans
• Learn and understand the business operations to ensure maximum financial results in all areas
• Work on own initiative and support with development plans via expansion
• Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent

Job Specification

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the Financial Controller will be to support the business with strengthening current market position and proactively manage financials to support with doubling turnover of the business.

Job Specifics:

• Producing reports & presenting to directors on a daily, weekly and monthly, quarterly basis
• Financial analysis & Cash flow management
• Monitoring and reviewing as well as enforcing new policies and procedures
• Conducting internal audits
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Attend management meetings ensuring valuable contribution is offered
• Processing supplier payments
• Managing tax returns, VAT returns, corporation tax

The successful Financial Controller must be able to demonstrate a successful career within finance with a proven track record of working with rapidly growing businesses or blue-chip organisations.

Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential as well as a team player attitude.

Hours: Monday - Friday 08.30am - 5.00pm

Salary: Circa £50k+ DOE
