This is a exciting well funded business, with a turnover of circa £150M that has diversified in recent years and is growing fast in a variety of different consumer facing sectors; including leisure, media licencing, retail and hospitality and now requires a seasoned Finance Director who can manage the day to day detail as well as drive the business strategically with the CEO, both in the UK and internationally.
The ideal candidate must have a track record of success as a Finance Director in a fast paced consumer facing business and the gravitas to operate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, to deliver stellar performance across all areas of the business.
Reporting to the Group MD and shareholders, key responsibilities will include:
The ability to manage a varied team to deliver best in class finance, administration and compliance for a fast growth business.
Business partner and provide real finance leadership and challenge to the Board on a range of activities including strategic initiatives, acquisitions and negotiations in the UK and internationally.
Manage a wide variety of external relationships with Investors and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant, with excellent academic background. You will have an impressive track record of success in a fast paced consumer facing, multisite business. You will have Finance Director experience in a large well run complex business, with acquisition, negotiation and integration experience at Board level.
