Position Objective

Manage the product overall including governance, Audit, renewals, managing risk and controls. In addition, manage the growth of the Product by managing new initiatives. This will include interface with external stakeholders to get relevant approvals like NPAC, white belling some offerings like C2FO and oversee the implementation of the solutions internally.


Key Responsibilities

Focus on EMEA SCF product management

Ensure the integrity of the Product in EMEA through the maintenance of checks, controls and reporting including PandL Management. Leading the response to any events impacting the product within EMEA e.g. changes in tax regulations in a specific market in manner that affects supply chain finance. Ensuring that latest revisions to accounting standards are guidance papers are reflected supply chain finance roadmap/plan
Support key initiatives like Islamic Finance, C2FO, regional alignment of processes:
C2FO is the market leading dynamic discounting platform where Citi has partnered with the owners of C2FO. This is a Global partnership and the intention is to growth the portfolio of C2FO clients within EMEA. The role will involve working closely with sales, C2FO colleagues and be the subject matter expert. The program management role will include work with clients and internal stakeholders to identify, structure and develop opportunities for evolving the product to the next level. Product innovation focus to be across multiple parameters ranging from Client Engagement, Implementations model, Legal Documentation, Technology solution etc.

Islamic Finance has been identified as a key area of growth by MENA region. We are exploring partnering with fin techs to explore this further


Product launch

Launch white labelling of C2FO within EMEA by getting relevant approvals from stakeholders and also oversee the technical implementation of the white label solution on integration of C2FO platform with CSF platform.


Regional Product management

Lead the alignment of processes and product structures across the CEEMEA region including MENAPT, CEE, SSA and RUK. The role may need to review processes in the regions and ensure optimisation
Client materials for engagement:
Support production of 'best-in-class' marketing material for sales pitches (including client presentations and broader marketing materials), tailoring for client to maximise relevance (including use analytical tools like Interactive Solutions). Driving client engagement beyond treasury, to include procurement, technology and other stakeholders key for a successful programme. Build deep client relationships to later leverage as reference clients.



Lead Innovation

Digitalization and innovation are big themes for Citi and the individual is expected to lead these projects and ensure successful launch by closely working with innovation lab and D10X partners

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience

Prior knowledge of Trade preferred, and specifically supply chain finance
Experience working in a corporate treasury or procurement function and advantage
Prior sales experience and track-record preferable
Team Player
Additional EU language an advantage

Strong communication skills essential, in particular the ability:
- to drive client engagement through effective formal presentations
- to quickly build consultative/positive relationships with clients
- to make message relevant by tailoring to level and function of stakeholder
- to write concise, organized, persuasive tender responses
