JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
  • Work with Management and business units to determine strategic objectives and identify opportunities to meet these goals;
  • Serve as finance lead for corporate to compile, review, analyse and validate financial information from individual operating units or projects;
  • Analyse financial results and prepare the management reporting for performance review and business monitoring
  • Identify weaknesses exist in the operating units and review process flows to improve efficiency;
  • Provide support on business process controls, audit, internal assessment and other reporting / controls requirements as required
  • Manage corporate exercises and/or special projects with respect to funding strategy / options to meet the business requirements;
  • Develop valuation, financial models and strategic analysis to support decision making and funding options; for business units which includes financing structure for planned and existing projects;
  • Research, analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources into business information as directed and by self-identification of business information needs including providing economic outlook and SWOT analysis
  • Assist in transaction or project negotiations;
  • Management of due diligence processes;
  • Liaise with accountants, lawyers, financial experts and regulatory bodies;
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trend and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, recommending actions;
  • Lead in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and operating plans including identifying trends, explain variances and impact to full year forecast and complete budgetary process;
  • Prepare and present financial review pack, including commenting on variances to plans and forecasts;
  • Analyze projections with respect to various operating strategies, shareholder value measures and other metrics and objectives;
  • Assist in revenue, expense and cashflow projections and expense saving opportunities within all areas of the forecast models;
  • Prepare report, analysis, presentations including marketing materials and deal documents;
  • Engage in business-partnering role with the geographical market and the operational teams to deliver positive business results;
  • Assist in year-end audit and consolidations;
  • Adhoc assigments.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Recognized professional qualification or degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics. A relevant post-graduate qualification (for example CPA/CA/ CFA/ACCA or MBA) will be highly regarded
  • At least 4 -5 years of solid working experience in finance analysis in recent employment
  • Exposure to relevant transaction through corporate finance/investment banking/private equity or project finance
  • An understanding of business fundamentals: strategies, operating models, functions, macroeconomics and well-developed valuation, financial analysis and modelling skills, including the ability to develop a financial model from scratch;
  • Analytical, with conceptual as well as creative thinking skills and ability to logically structure a deliverable / storyboard
  • Strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skill;
  • Strong project management and communication skills with ability to interact confidently at all levels in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently within a team context and with multiple team leaders.
