This role will be a hands on position heading up the finance team within small company in North West London. This will be recruited as an interim position initially with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right person.

My client is an ambitious SME with ambitious growth plans. They have experienced consistent growth over the past 5 years and expect this to continue in the years to come. They are looking to expand into international markets and this role will encompass the strategic decisions behind their expansion.
Description
Some key responsibilities for this position will include:
- Manage and develop the finance team
- Preparing month and year end packs and working with auditors to prepare annual audited financial statements
- Develop systems and procedures to ensure the finances of the organisation are effectively managed
- Ensuring full financial controls are in place
- Monthly accounts preparation
- Monthly budgeting and forecasting, including partnering with budget holders
- Manage and monitor the organisations cash flow, inventory, payroll and nominal ledger
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- 2+ years post qualified experience
- Have a current and thorough knowledge of UK GAAP
- Have experience leading and managing staff previously
- Have a good understanding of systems such as Sage50
- Experience with inventory management desired
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting desired
