This position is expected to support the continuing growth and strategy of the company's North American Operations through effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Develop an in–depth understanding of the NABG financials with a specific focus on operational costs and capital expense
  • On–going management and review of monthly actuals to ensure expectations are met accordingly to plan
  • Prepare unit cost trends and comparison analyses
  • Ad–hoc assignments and projects at various levels of complexity
  • Support in the preparation of the Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts
  • Define operational cost assumptions and drivers within the underlying business
  • Understand the impact of exceptions and events to the underlying business
  • Take ownership of assigned cost accounts and ensure that monthly/quarterly financial targets are met as planned
  • Requires in depth understanding of relevant operational processes/activities, as well as the associated accounting treatment
  • Provide cross–functional support to Operations management and Accounting
  • Assist and support any process improvements around the monitoring the in–month progress of high risk cost accounts
  • Work directly with key business owners and management; be able to effectively and comfortably convey financial results, and conclusions of analyses performed, as well as suggest process improvements
  • Work with cross–functional teams to understand the existing data and infrastructure in order to efficiently address management–driven projects and support management reporting; some of which will be recurring (weekly, monthly or quarterly), while many will be ad–hoc
  • Work product and presentation materials deliver a succinct message that effectively communicates financial results
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail

  • Bachelor?s degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience required
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be able to successfully pass all background screening
  • Must have basic knowledge of accounting rules and financial statements to assist in the transition from sales to modeling to accounting
  • Must have advanced proficiency in MS Powerpoint, including working knowledge of interactive and linked objects/data sources
  • Must have advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including working knowledge of PowerQuery and Macro commands)
  • Must have exceptional research skills
  • Must be able to successfully pass all applicable background screening tests
