Job Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the implementation of our comprehensive strategic planning process. This includes assisting stakeholders in achieving objectives by tracking financial and productivity performance, forecasting and budgeting, developing capital plans, and performing ad hoc analysis. This position will also be required to support the financial accounting team in the process of the monthly financial close by ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate. The Financial Analyst will also require a strong focus on business, partnering with internal stakeholders and providing expert analysis and financial advice. This position requires a determined and motivated candidate who will work well in both a team and individual environment, work well under pressure, multi–task, manage workflow, and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Prepare standard management reports for each line of business and various stakeholders
  • Lead forecast and budget process including loading into consolidation models, creating reports, and distribution to major stakeholders
  • Prepare reports of departmental statistics and key metrics
  • Analyze financial statements, perform margin analysis, and monitor department profitability
  • Review spending in accordance with forecast and annual budget
  • Understand and analyze key business drivers and communicate their impact on achieving long–term financial goals
  • Able to comprehend and utilize company's suite of business intelligence tools including ERP system, financial reporting software, and financial consolidation tools
  • Able to perform data manipulation and analysis on information acquired from multiple sources
  • Create and maintain reporting standards and ensure consistent report formatting and data presentation
  • Team–first orientation with members of Finance & Accounting organization
  • Perform other job–related duties as requested
  • Internal Controls
    • Document and follow relevant internal controls over financial reporting
    • Directly assist subsidiaries and other departments to document and adhere to relevant internal controls over financial reporting for their respective functions

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years' experience in management reporting and analysis
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Demonstrable track record of working with and servicing internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles
  • MS office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
  • Advanced knowledge of excel functions and abilities
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Experience with enterprise reporting software
