An exciting opportunity for a temp to perm Finance Analyst to join a market leading organisation situated in the Milton Keynes. My client are looking for an individual who will excel within this role, take responsibility and add value to their business.

Client Details

My client are a reputable organisation and leaders within their industry. They require an experienced Finance Analyst to support their Group IT team situated in their Milton Keynes offices.

Description

Key responsibilities include;

  • Provide a level of financial support to the Finance Business Partner Group IT for them to be able to provide information on routine contractual commitments and key strategic IT projects and programmes across the business throughout their lifecycle, to ensure successful outcomes are achieved in line with the Group strategy
  • Produce timely and accurate financial information, presented coherently and providing investigations and analysis to Finance Business Partner Group IT to facilitate decision making in relation to key projects
  • Assist with annual business planning and budgeting activities for the IT function, whilst ensuring that operational plans and financial aspects relating to the Group's strategy are factored in
  • Act as a 'trusted advisor' to the Finance Business Partner Group IT, providing valued and effective guidance for all financial activities relating to routine contractual commitments and key IT projects
  • Assist in providing an invaluable link between the Group Finance and IT function and the business unit finance teams to ensure IT projects are aligned with divisional business initiatives and strategies
  • Assist in helping to ensure IT accounting is effectively integrated into the business - from inception through to integration - by providing an excellent level of finance support to the Finance Business Partner Group IT and business unit finance teams to ensure they understand and can actively control their IT costs and forecast accurately
  • Work closely with the Finance Business Partner Group IT to ensure a consistent approach is taken to ensure compliance and control in relation to financial activities at all times that is aligned with the Group strategy and values
  • Work in partnership with the Finance Business Partner Group IT to identify synergies and share best practice, skills, resources, insights and feedback geared towards creating a 'One Countrywide' feel for our customers and colleagues

Profile

The successful candidate will have;

  • Preferably a diverse industry and finance background, that you will be able to draw upon to assist in driving business change
  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively, to both finance and non-finance colleagues
  • You will be motivated and enjoy working autonomously and have effective project management skills to ensure deadlines and conflicting priorities are managed but
  • You will also enjoy working as part of an open and friendly team, with demonstrable experience of commitment to delivery of wider team goals and getting hands-on under pressure
  • You will have thrived in dynamic environments, challenging the status quo and recommending improvements to existing practices
