The incumbent will join the Financial Management team, assisting the Regional Financial Controller and the Team Head in all matters with regards to Regulatory Reporting.

Main Duties
  • Overseeing the MAS 610 project to ensure internal and regulatory timelines are met, working with the project team and liaising with the various stakeholders within the bank and the Group.
  • Review and provision of accurate and timely financial and regulatory reports in compliance with OCBC and MAS / statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for General Ledger maintenance and mapping to regulatory reports.
    Analysis of financial information in the various reports.
  • Continually improve the quality of financial information available and the services offered by the team to the stakeholders.
  • Liaison with internal and external auditors, and the other departments within the Bank.


Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of working experience in audit firms or financial institutions, with hands-on knowledge in regulatory reporting.
  • Subject matter expert in MAS reporting requirements.
  • Conversant with IFRS and SFRS.
  • Qualified accountant (Singapore CA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications) is preferred.
  • Must be able to work well under tight deadlines, handle multiple responsibilities and deliver results.
  • Good analytical/communications skills and excellent problem solving ability.
    Strong self-starter, pro-active and team player.
  • Good operational knowledge and skills in IT applications, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Globus or Axiom knowledge will be an advantage.
