Are you an experienced Credit Risk professional looking for a new opportunity where you can make a real impact on credit risk policy and strategy?

Our Credit Risk team is the independent risk management team of Macquarie's Banking & Financial Services Group. The Credit Risk Management team has responsibility for maintaining and developing credit risk appetite, policy, process and strategy for Home Loan, Asset Finance and Credit Card portfolios.

In this role, you will work in collaboration with the Credit Services, Product, and Distribution teams to continually evolve the approach to credit risk management across products and across the risk lifecycle .

You'll be responsible for developing and enhancing lending strategies, policy, prudential controls, and risk-based analytics to enable faster and smarter credit decisions. You will drive continuous improvements within credit risk processes, approvals and functions .

Liaising with Macquarie's central Credit Risk Management division (Line 2), you will ensure ongoing compliance with the bank's risk management policies and procedures, credit risk portfolio parameters and credit policy .

Leading disciplined, effective and productive working relationships with the teams across the Banking and Financial Services Group ecosystem , you will find opportunities for balanced growth of portfolio. Coaching and/or line management of credit risk analysts will also form part of your role.

For success in this role, you'll have experience in Home Loan and/or Asset Finance credit risk management . Having experience in credit risk analytics, you'll have a track record for driving optimal decisions through use of data. With your confident and competent communication style, you'll be able to relate complex technical concepts to staff at all levels and in various teams.

You will have strong analytical and technical skills , the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by multitasking and being flexible. Credit underwriting/approval authority experience would also be desirable, but not essential. Your awareness of industry and regulatory landscape will be highly valued.
