An exciting opportunity it London's West End to create, lead and develop a new finance division that is able to offer 360 degree support to all business functions of this new Brand Management business.
Client Details
My client is a a boutique agency based in London's West End with a global reach. The new team of brand management specialists build commercial value for brand owners, and their IP, across the world, they have built a business from the ground up and our now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to help them build on their success.
Description
The successful Finance Manager will:
- Manage of cash balances and cash flow forecasting
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare annual budgets/ forecasts and annual cash flow budgets
- Prepare annual statutory accounts for audit
- Manage the supplier invoices and staff expense claims
- Manage the reporting of client forecasting requirements
- Project work to support the development of the business
- deal with the accounting for royalty/commission payments and manage Aderant and Brainbase/Brandcomply to ensure all invoicing and royalty/commission payments/receipts are recorded
Profile
The successful Finance Manager will:
- have previous experience in royalty accounting (essential)
- be a CIMA/ACCA finalist (or have equivalent experience)
- have previous experience within brand's sector or agencies highly desirable
- have previous experience in all of the above responsibilities
- have previous experience working at a managerial level
- have excellent attention to detail
- have an ability to multi-task and handle a fast-changing business environment
- have an ability to build close working relationships and communicate effectively with people at all levels
- be adaptable and flexible approach with a strong willingness to support and contribute towards the business's ongoing development
