Jenson Fisher, have been engaged by an established organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to take the next step in their career.

The main duties:
- Manage and support payroll and accounts assistants
- Undertake bookkeeping, ensuring that all transactions are posted
- All ledgers are promptly reconciled and queries dealt with timely
- Overview of the payroll processing and pension requirements
- Reconciliation of quarterly VAT returns
- Overview of the Companies’ expenses controls
- Preparing management accounts
- Liaising with the companies’ external accountants/auditors and providing year end information within agreed timescales
- Liaising where necessary with external third parties, including the Companies’ bankers, customers and suppliers
The main requirements:
- Previous experience preparing management accounts is essential
- Payroll experience is essential
- Sage experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team player
