Contract role // Assistant Accountant
Your new company
Your new company is a healthcare supplier based in Preston, they are growing in size and are looking to on board a contractor for maternity cover. They are based a 5 minute walk from the centre of Preston and commutable from both Blackpool and Preston.
Your new role
Your new role is that of an assistant accountant, you will be expected to support the divisional management accountants at the business head office. You will be expected to assist with generation on monthly accounts, assist with transactional finance, assist with large scales allocations and reconciliations. You will report to management accountants and present your findings for the previous month/task.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have an AAT Quantification (or equivalent) and studying towards a professional qualification. You must have a minimum of 2 years working in a finance environment and an additional year with mass scale allocations and reconciliations. Someone who has had working experience Sage would also be beneficial.
