This is a unique opportunity to join a fantastic organisation with excellent prospects, where as the Management Accountant/Finance Manager you will be a key member of the organisation reporting into the board of directors.

The client will offer all support necessary to ensure the successful candidate can succeed, with both external and internal training available.

Description

As a Management Accountant, you will be reporting into the Managing Director, offering business support to the directors and the rest of the Consultancy business. You will have ownership of the production of the monthly management reporting, cost reconciliations, P&L and balance sheet reconciliations as well as overseeing the function manageing aged debt, credit control and transactional finance.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for an exciting and challenging role within a growing business. Your duties in depth, will include: Production and analysis of monthly management accounts, Generation of weekly reports, Control of cost ledger, sales ledger and general ledger, Oversee purchase ledger, Maintain fixed assets ledger, Preparation of VAT returns, Forecasting and Growing the finance function.

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to complete a full set of management accounts
• Have strong transactional knowledge
• Be comfortable challenging and presenting to directors
• Have strong excel skills
• Have an interest in strategic/future planning
