Your new company The company is one of the words largest communication firms, establishing as a leader within its niche. It specialises in a broad range of skills and services such as; Digital advertising, public affairs, planning and buying and media strategy. It is now in the process of opening up its shared service centre in Dublin, and requires a Treasury Manager to join its team. Your new role In your new role you will be reporting directly to the European Treasurer, and will act as an expert on settlement, cash pooling, reporting and project management across a number of European markets. Your day to day duties will consist of; supervision of your regional treasury team, query resolution, managing settlement payment on behalf of treasury back office functions, overseeing the input and processing of treasury transactions, preparing monthly reports to senior management, implementing risk controls, rate fixing of all floating deals, along with audit responsibilities. What you'll need to succeed You will hold a bachelors or masters qualification. A formal treasury/accounting qualification (ACT/ACCA) being an advantage, but not a necessity. You will be fluent in English & a second language - (German, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, French or Italian. You will have a minimum of 5 years Treasury experience. You will have experience in leading and motivating a multilingual team. You will be analytical, and have knowledge of interpreting financial reports, business periodicals and technical procedures. You will understand treasury instruments, procedures and dealing practices. You will have some accountancy and finance experience, and be familiar with using ERP systems, with a knowledge of Sungard/Quantum being beneficial. You will be a team player who can work to deadlines.
