Corporate Accountant - Central Bristol

A new and exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant has arisen. My client is a top-leading firm in the heart of Bristol and due to a recent restructure, a new role has been created for a technically strong and experienced finance professional.

This role will report to the Financial Accounting Manager and although there are no direct reports, it is expected that you will support and mentor the junior members of a close-knit, yet agile team. The successful candidate will be accountable for planning and controlling month/year end processes, perform balance sheet reconciliations and other financial control activities, whereas you will liaise closely with key business stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will;

• Be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Have demonstrable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ideally in a technical accounting role
• Proven track record of month-end, year-end reporting in tight deadlines
• Have strong analytical and excel skills and a keen eye for detail

Any previous experience in SAP will be highly advantageous.
