  • To work as part of the Finance Function to:
  • Compile quotes & tenders to aid profitable commercial decisions & price setting.
  • Provide commercial insight & understanding of complex business scenarios
  • Provide the Departmental Directors and their teams with business analysis to aid optimum business decision making.
  • To work as part of the team to maintain the integrity of costs.

Description

  • To support the Commercial team and the rest of the business to analyse various aspects of performance to enable optimum business making decisions.
  • To produce cost information for commercial tenders.
  • Help to maintain the integrity of current costs & future quotes.
  • Enhance & maintain reporting for discounts & product rebates.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to administer, report & challenge quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Report, present and bring commercial insight on business performance at divisional review meetings.
  • Develop an understanding of the competitive pressures that the business faces and their potential implications and provide business alternatives/solutions.
  • Appraise and influence company systems & processes with a view to improve reporting reliability & company performance.
  • Maintain & develop monthly reporting & management information systems for directors and senior managers.
  • Continually challenge current thinking and make recommendations on how to optimise business opportunities and minimise risk/cost to the business.
  • Undertake ad-hoc commercial & financial exercises.

Profile

  • Analytical logical approach.

  • Computer and PC spreadsheet skills (Advanced Excel).
